Villas
Each villa at Atulya Kanchi Camp carries the name of a tribal totem, forest spirit, or animal companion—from Bhaiti’s Watch to Kanchi’s Rest. Guests are welcomed with a hand-rolled scroll revealing the story behind their villa, creating an immediate sense of connection with the land and its lore.
Designed by hosts Neeraj and Arti, these eco-private villas blend traditional tribal aesthetics with environmentally conscious architecture. Built to sit gently on the forest floor, they draw inspiration from village topography and use natural materials to ensure harmony with the surrounding wildlife.
Sal Ghar: Where the Forest Feeds the Soul
Set beneath a canopy of ancient Sal trees, Sal Ghar is the beating heart of the camp—a place where food, story, and forest come together. Built entirely from bamboo, reclaimed wood, and forest-friendly thatch, this open-air space is inspired by African mamba-style structures and breathes as freely as the jungle around it.
With no walls to separate diners from nature, Sal Ghar offers a dining experience shaped by birdsong, drifting mahua blossoms, and the occasional quiet visitor from the wild. Here, meals from Kanchi’s Kitchen—seasonal, organic-inspired, and preservative-free—are served as rituals of taste, tradition, and togetherness.
Evenings begin with fire, blessings, or a tale whispered from the forest, inviting guests to slow down and listen to the jungle’s lullaby. A cosy corner is always reserved for pet companions, honouring the gentle presence of Fluffy and Bhaiti, whose spirit warms the space.

Atulya Kanchi Camp welcomes every member of your family—including the furry ones. Inspired by Fluffy, our beloved Mongrel camp dog, and Bhaiti, the river-dog spirit after whom one of our villas is named, we celebrate the bond between humans, animals, and the forest.
