Eco-Conscious Wildlife Camp uniting conservation
Where Wilderness Meets the Soul
Discover a world where time slows down and nature takes the lead. Nestled in the heart of Bandhavgarh’s forests, Atulya Kanchi Camp is not just a resort — it’s a journey into the wild, crafted with love, care, and deep respect for the land. Each of our seven private villas is surrounded by the songs of birds, the whispers of Sal trees, and the soft rhythm of the jungle that breathes around you.
Here, every sunrise brings the golden light of adventure, and every sunset leaves you with stories that stay long after you’ve returned home. Step into a space where comfort feels natural, silence feels alive, and every moment reconnects you to the beauty of being yourself.
Atulya Kanchi Camp was born from a true story — a bond between man, nature, and a beloved elephant named Kanchi. Her memory lives within every path and heartbeat of this forest retreat, reminding us that life’s purest experiences come from coexistence and compassion.
Neeraj Pathania – Co-Founder & Host, Atulya Kanchi Camp
Neeraj Pathania
For decades, Neeraj has wandered across India’s diverse landscapes — from the Himalayan peaks to the deserts, rivers, and jungles. His life has been woven with adventure, conservation, and film.
As a Location Manager for National Geographic, Neeraj worked on multiple projects, including an epic 1,000 km elephant journey across southern India. He led the first UK expedition into Arunachal Pradesh and appeared in Mark Shand’s legendary travel book “River Dog.”
Each of his journeys has carried a purpose — to protect elephants, support mahouts, and keep their stories alive.
Today, through Atulya Kanchi Camp, Neeraj shares this lifelong passion by crafting immersive experiences that celebrate the wild and the human spirit within it.
Arti Pathania
The heart behind Atulya Kanchi Camp, Arti has shaped every detail with care — from its architecture and interiors to its kitchen and gardens.
Her design philosophy is simple: use what the land gives, honor local traditions, and let nature lead the way.
She manages our organic farming projects, ensuring that Kanchi’s Kitchen serves food that comes straight from the fields — rich in flavor, heart, and heritage.
Arti also curates the Atulya Home Shop, a small boutique within the camp that reflects her love for local craftsmanship.
Arti believes that sustainability is not a concept, but a way of living — one that nurtures community, preserves culture, and brings people together.
Our Philosophy
We believe in supporting local communities, protecting forests, and honoring every life that shares this land with us.
